What have we been up to?????????????????????

Life I thought would slow down after Florida and all the Football stuff.  LOL yeah right if there is an open space it seems to get filled right away.  

But today and this evening its Christmas Lights and cookies with Friends.  Saturday was dinner and Cookies with friends, and this Saturday I might be doing pix for a friend of a friend!!!!!   Life is moving right along.

In home school I'm learning more and more about the Thomas Jefferson Eduction.  We've changed a few things and I need to update the curriculum.....but not today ;)

Today we are baking and writing our dear friends letters about Florida and then continuing a fun competition on who can come up with the most things they are grateful for by Friday where the winner will get a prize (a prize for everyone prob as they are all doing great at the competition)

Life has Been Crazy BUSY

Between family life, homeschool, football, church, and now golf and voice lessons.  I have had absolutely NO time to post on my blog.  I will pick things back up once this football season is over.  Honestly it's what consumes so much of our time with practices and games.  So I'm going to post a few pix of our recent adventures but I will pick my mothers homeschool journal back up in Nov.  Maybe in January depending on how things keep going.  ;) 


OH and I wanted to share some of the books we've enjoyed the past few weeks.  We finished up, "A little Princess" and then started "Treasure Island" and I'm currently reading/listening to "A Thomas Jefferson Education" and I have to say I'm loving it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   Fabulous read and makes perfect sense and is driving me to make some changes in my homeschooling!!!   I will update you more on it later.  But if you get the chance then look it up and read it.  Very inspiring.
